Conceptualizing and personifying your self esteem as a person is a good idea.

If you think lowly of yourself in the first place, it is difficult to try and do things to preserve your well-being.

Thinking of it as another person you are living for and trying to do your best for is a good method.

Yes! Opera is a major entertainment thing on my world! Rhyme, music, meter, pacing: all are key in opera's formation! It creates a lens through which a microcosm of the world can be seen!

[And being able to sing opera songs, albeit offkey, is decent training for the stamina of auditory spellcasting in battle.]
